Project 365 - day 9

One really great outcome of this photo-a-day project is that I'm really playing with the settings on my camera, not that it's a fabulous camera or anything fancy, but still. It's a Kodak EasyShare Z730...5 mp...4x optical zoom and digital zoom that I don't even bother with. I used to only use the auto setting and would play with the flash settings only. Well, I've really been playing and understanding the scene settings, like if I take a photo in landscape mode, how will the same picture turn out if I take it in sport mode or beach mode? I haven't ventured to the clicks on the dial below that, but I will.


My current favorite is the self portrait mode. The foreground is in focus and the background is fuzzy. I like it! I don't understand the photographic technicalities at work, but the effect is pleasant to my eye. Oh isn't learning fun?!!!
