I love spending time with Joy. It does involve Miller Light on occasion, as it did on this sunny, summer day. We talk about our lives, our moms, our kids and husbands, work, and life in general (past, present, and future). I never would have guessed that I'd have a friend like Joy because, on the surface, we have little in common. She doesn't scrapbook or partake in anything art-y or crafty. She prefers mornings to late nights. She's worked while raising her kids. She doesn't act like a complete child in public! haha But she's the yin to my yang, so to speak. She calls me on my shit, without even a thought which, trust me, is a very good thing! I can go to her (and she to me) with anything and no be judged, ridiculed, or laughed at. Well, okay, she does laugh at me but only when I truly deserve it. HA!
