How can ANYONE resist this sweet face?!!!

This is my little pal, Axl. He's been quite the source of entertainment at our house since late December when we adopted him at 5 months old. He's a scant 15 pounds of jack russell terrier and pomeranian mix, although as far as personality and temperment goes, he's ALL JACK!

Last Monday Axl spent some quality time with his vet so he'd never father some illegitimate puppies in the neighborhood and now the pathetic little guy has to wear a e-collar almost 24 hours a day because anytime we remove his "cone" he immediately turns around to that area. A puppy in a "cone" makes for quite the entertainment! As playful a little guy as he is, the "cone" sure gets in his way! And who decided that a see-through plastic was better than opaque? Poor Axl sees the ball, traps the ball with his front paws, yet all he can taste is smooth plastic getting in the way! And forget chewing on a rawhide bone without the use of front paws to hold it in place! But, not to worry, little guy, you'll soon be rid of your lampshade and boundlessly running in and out of all the small places you love, rolling around the livingroom playing with Buddy, and cuddling in closer in bed at night!
