1000 Journals

So, ARTFest (http://www.teeshamoore.com) is this weekend in Port Townsend and with that comes more business for the store and lots of crazy ladies that carry scissors and love to play with glue. ROFL My kind of women!

One event that I read about that really intrigued me was this project called 1000 Journals. There's a website, of course, and I've spent hours over the past 2 days browsing the pages of these journals, squinting at the monitor to read the ramblings of various people, seeing the magazine collages they've pasted to the pages, marveling at the sketchings of others. I don't know if anyone will feel the same way I do, but I think this project is the coolest idea ever! I would love to wander into any of the dozens of coffee shops that I have in my town, only to discover a journal just asking for me to add to it. That is so awesome!
